McNair & Associates, Chtd., is a Nevada Professional Corporation of Certified Public Accountants and Forensic Accountants with its office located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The office is comprised of majority stockholder, Sharon J. McNair (CPA, CFE, FCPA, DABFA), seven professional staff (including six Nevada Certified Public Accountants) and four support staff members.

The firm is a highly-respected public accounting firm, serving clients in several states. Present and previous clients include insurance companies, charitable organizations, employee benefit and pension plans, mortgage servicing firms, manufacturing concerns, ranching and farming businesses, contractors, publishers, mining, medical and dental organizations, wholesale and retail trade businesses, restaurant and bars, professional service corporations and homeowners' associations as well as governmental entities. The firm has extensive experience in auditing, tax preparation and consultation, accounting services including compilation and review of financial statements, financial planning, forensic accounting, management advisory services (including computer systems consulting and support), and litigation support services. The firm is active in all phases of litigation support including being retained by various insurance companies and attorneys to provide reconstruction of accounting records, forecasts and projections, statistical analyses of accounting information, and valuation of claims and losses. The firm's partner has testified in court extensively as an expert in accounting and tax, and been appointed as Umpire, Appraiser, Arbitrator and Mediator in numerous cases.

The principal of McNair & Associates, Chtd., Sharon J. McNair, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mrs. McNair is a past chairman of the Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards Committee and the Litigation Support Committees of the Nevada Society of CPAs. All of the firm's professionals are actively involved in many aspects of community organizations, charitable foundations and fraternal groups. Mrs. McNair is a member of the Nevada State Board of Accountancy, appointed by the Governor in 2002, where she has served as its President and Secretary-Treasurer.

McNair & Associates, Chtd., is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the AICPA (PCPS), which audits member firms to ensure the highest quality work. A copy of the last “Peer Review” is attached. McNair & Associates purchased the Las Vegas Office of Pangborn & Co., Ltd. as of September 1, 1998.

McNair & Associates, Chtd., continues the tradition set by Pangborn & Co. since its establishment in 1952 (in Reno), becoming statewide upon the merger with Las Vegas based McNair & Apple, in 1988, of being a longtime Nevada public accounting firm dedicated to providing quality services while maintaining long-standing client relationships. In 2007, McNair & Associates was named to the 2007 “Best in Client Satisfaction” list of financial businesses by Las Vegas Life magazine and was featured in its November 2007 issue.
